By ECM Plus

ECM Plus +++ Open source software vendor Alfresco has just taken the wraps off its latest product dubbed ‘Mobile’, iOS apps for iPads and iPhones.

Alfresco said its iOS apps offer corporate users direct access to their business content whilst out on the hoof.

According to the open source vendor, Mobile works across the entire Alfresco product line, including Team, Enterprise and Community.

All current Alfresco users can download the free apps to access their content directly from an iPhone or iPad.

“The tablet has already become the third screen for today’s knowledge workers and is quickly replacing the notebook and printed reports in business meetings across the globe,” said Todd Barr, Alfresco’s chief marketing officer. “Our goal is to create unique and valuable tablet experiences for interacting with corporate content and these apps are just the start. Alfresco aims to be the industry leading enterprise file system for tablets and smartphones.”
