About

ECM Plus is different.

Unlike all the other content guys who are great at what they do, specialising in the nuts and bolts and the nitty-gritty of CMSs and APIs, we at ECM Plus appreciate all that, but, what we do is different.

We live in the real world of business, where businesses don’t give a flying fig about CMIS, about acronyms, about magical quadrants or self-aggrandising honors – what they want are business solutions that reflect and help them over real challenges out there in their world, not the ECM world, per se.

Therefore, what we do is integrate the real hard stuff of economics, finance and commerce and a raft of cultural, cyclical and semantic memes with the soft underbelly of operational systems, processes and best practices that will help them do their thing in their way, not in ‘acronym city’ where the ‘Consultants of Spin’ with their PowerPoint bulletpoints hecklerspray the intelligence of the savvy with platitudes and doublespeak.

You won’t find any of that here. Not one word.

If you’re here to find out the latest and greatest in CMS finery, you may or may not find it. That’s not our schtick. We’re from out there in business-land. We want to make ECM – and then some – work for our readers in businesses, not the other way around.

At the end of the day, CFOs and CIOs are humans, not software geeks – they don’t have time to goo and aah over the geeky functionality of the front-end, nor the widgety-social media foreplay that can sidetrack business if unleashed on an untrained, unprepared workflow.

They want to see ROI, they want to see business process improvement, quality assured and a value-add. Not IT lock-in with licenses on the shelf.

ECM Plus sees it all from their angle, taps their insight, tickles out their views in order to tackle the crux of today’s problems with today’s outcomes. And then comes the hard news too.

ECM Plus – The Voice of Content – enterprise content management and then some.

So. At ECM Plus, we are proud to be first to your desk every week with the latest news and developments in content and business information.
